SXSW 2016: We’re Talking Data Down South

The final countdown is on for SXSW 2016 (eek!). We’re sending Alana and Ed down to Austin for a few days and Radish is especially excited that Alana is co-hosting a panel with Brian Kahn of Climate Central as part of SXSW Interactive, the festival’s incubator for emerging technologies and digital creativity.

Their session, “Building Great Data Visualizations: A Case Study,” will focus on Radish Lab and Climate Central’s joint collaboration on [this interactive data story] detailing temperature shifts over the next 100 years. Brian and Alana will dissect the project, covering how their teams turned a mountain of hard data into visually appealing, interactive content. The session will take place at the Hilton Austin Downtown in Salon G from 5 PM to 6 PM on Monday, March 14th.

For more information about the session and SXSW Interactive, check out this fun profile on Alana. We hope to see you at the session, and let us know how to find you if you’re going to be in Austin! We can eat tacos together.
