The Do School
An international educational institution offering unique training programs and fellowships to young social entrepreneurs from around the world.
The DO School came to Radish on the cusp of a major rebrand. The DO School had refreshed its name and logo and wanted to rebuild and extend its brand across an entirely new website. Based in Germany, the organization was looking to become more international. Radish would help rewrite its site and improve content strategy across web and social media platforms.
This project came with a catch—an extremely tight timeline. The client wanted us to design, develop, rewrite, and launch its new site in fewer than seven weeks. With a major fundraising gala hinging on the launch of the new brand and website, there was no wiggle room on the deadline. Add to that the time zone factor. The DO School is a continent away and six hours ahead of New York, adding unique communication challenges.
Radish worked with The DO School to overhaul their website and content to reflect their new brand. We completely reworked the site’s IA and content strategy, implementing a clear structure and language for the organization to communicate its core message and calls to action. We designed a modular, fresh, and functional site that is spot-on with their target audience.
Our development process involved a customized WordPress dashboard and the implementation of WordPress Multisite, which gives The DO School the ability to host their library of blogs and projects. We’ve given them a centralized database to manage a network of more than 15 sites.
This site was completed on budget, and on time, in eight weeks from start to finish (phew!).
